Christian Education

The Bible tells the story of God’s loving relationship with humanity down through the millennia. There is a pattern and wisdom to how God loves us. By deepen in our knowledge of God, or our theology, we can better recognize the pattern of God’s love active in our lives on a daily basis.

Advent Sunday School

Weekly program for children ages 4 through Grade 7

Our mission is to share God’s love for His children. Classes meet Sundays 9:30–10:30am during the school year. We provide Bible lessons, discussion, songs, crafts and activities taught by experienced Sunday Schools teachers using approved Christian curriculum. New friends are invited to join us as we discover God’s Word together.

First Communion

5-week program held during the season of Lent

Prepares youth in the fifth grade or older, to make their First Communion and participate meaningfully in the Lord’s Supper.

Confirmation

2 year program for jr. high school youth

The youth receive an overview of the Bible and study Martin Luther’s Small Catechism. The program culminates in participation in the Affirmation of Baptism service.

Vacation Bible School

Children ages 4 through grade 6 for a week in the summer

VBS is filled with fun times together, as children learn lessons from the Bible with friends. Music, crafts, outdoor play and snacks make this a popular five-day adventure.

Adult Education

For those seeped in the Bible to those new to the Bible

There are several adult education opportunities throughout the year. There is Bible Study after worship on most Sundays, there is Thursday Night Bible Study by Zoom during the program year, and during the Summer there is there is usually a topical or theologically based study series.
