The Music Program at Advent

PRAISE TEAMChoirs2-5-2016

Performs the second and fourth Sunday of  the month at the 9:30am Contemporary service, and the fifth Sunday’s Blended worship.

For anyone who wants to help with contemporary music for the Praise service.

Singers and instrument players familiar with (or would like to learn) contemporary worship are needed.

All practice sessions are on Wednesday evening.
 
 

ADULT VOCAL CHOIR Advent Photos-2011-2013-Q1 137

Performs 1 or 2 times a month at 9:30am Traditional service – first and third Sunday of the month.

For adults both young and old to sing together in SATB parts.
 

ADULT BELL CHOIR

Performs about once a month at 9:30am traditional worship service.

For adults both young and old to ring the handbells.  The bell choir has performed at various community events and at elder care facilities.

SELECTED SPECIAL MUSIC

For anyone interested in adding music to our worship services, such as small group vocalists, soloists, instrumentalists and more.

Practice is scheduled with the performers. Special music is scheduled when choirs are not performing. 

SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PAGEANT  (coordinated with the Sunday School Director)

For Sunday School children to come together and provide a fun story about

Christmas to the congregation.

Practice is during the Sunday School hour starting in October and up to the December dress rehearsal held about a week before the live performance.

Performed once a year during the Christmas season at the 9:30am Sunday   Worship service.
