Meeting the needs of others, both here in Bucks County and around the World, are supported by Advent members & friends.

 Aid for FriendsProviding meals and blankets for the frail and elderly in the Philadelphia area

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) – A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others.  Advent hosts 3 open meetings per week.

American Red Cross – Blood drives are hosted here 2X per year.

Baby Manna Appeal – Collection for the purchase of infant formula and baby food for malnourished infants.

Bethanna Home for Children – Angel Tree project to gather gifts and personal care items for kids in need at Christmas time.

Girl Scouts of America – Junior Troop 2569 meets at Advent

Habitat for Humanity – Work days to support sustainable housing for those in need here in Bucks County.

Iglesia Luterana Nueva Creacion – Urban mission partner church at 2nd & Tioga Streets in Philadelphia.

Lutheran Disaster Response – Helping in times of crisis.

Lutheran World Relief Advent’s main benevolence partner delivers relief supplies to those suffering and in need around the world.  Wells are dug to supply water and farming supplies and technology are provided enabling local food production. 

Voting Site for Elections – If you live in the immediate area, your voting place is right here at Advent on election day. 

Warminster Food Pantry – Collections of canned goods and non-perishables food items to feed the hungry here in Bucks County

Souper Bowl of Caring – Before the NFL Super Bowl, a collection to help feed the hungry, ahead of watching the big game.

 We experience God’s love in many ways and receive His blessings.  We are called to give back a portion of these blessings to help others in His name.  In doing so, we become Good Stewards of our time, our skills, and our money.
